Stop and really put some thought into this guys. Are you sure you can keep your plants under 3 feet? Put simply, they have little to no place in your garden. Fluorescents are great if they suit your needs. If you have the money, invest in a T5 setup.

If you and your space can handle it, take the leap and get yourself a quality HID system. Do I have enough space for this kind of light? Need 5 feet of vertical growing space?
