Jump to: navigation , search. Pot of Avarice. References: [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13]. You cannot activate it you do not have 5 or more monsters in your GY. Kingof Lullaby. Hello Pojo Fans, Pot of Avarice was a great card that even more today could be abused.

Pot of Avarice is a simple card that allows you to put 5 monsters back from the GY into the deck and you can draw 2 cards. The ability to gain resources back is always great, Daigusto Emeral is considered an Extra Deck Staple for a reason, and the Draw 2 is powerful as we can see from Pot of Greed being forbidden.

This card is a dead draw early in the game, but can help you win a game later on. It is still a great card for gathering resources back and gaining advantage, but it being a dead draw early game makes me feel it is safe to come back. There are cards that say " return xxx to hand" and people pop synchros and XYZ's to the extra, so why can't you do that in reverse?

Anyways to answer it, no you can't 3 If the monster is anything FROM the extra deck, it returns to the extra deck. Only trolls say TTGL is the best anime evar!!!! User Info: FredCat But be sure to remember that if the effect said "Main Deck", like "Caam, Serenity of Gusto" for explanation - you can't shuffle Synchro Gusto back into the Deck since they don't exist in the "Main Deck".

American Sign Language is my primary language. Insult, berated and taunted other lowed your renowned civilian statue from into the bad people. You'll start losing resources quickly unless you can keep your Miracle Fertilizer s up and running. If you lost too much time in the early game while trying to bypass backrow and floodgates, Jar of Avarice will keep you from losing before you've had a chance to make a comeback. Reusing your deck's best spells is extremely powerful, which is why those cards are so difficult to play.

Jar of Avarice , by comparison, is hard to disrupt and returns the single card investment with a fresh draw. There are several Limited Spells that can swing duels in your favor, and they can do so twice if you add them back to your deck. Of course, there's no guarantee you'll draw into those cards again without a way to search them. Other, not-so-Limited spells and traps are searchable, and it's those cards that make Jar of Avarice worth playing in specific strategies. Fire Formation cards, Trap Hole cards, and Toy Vendor are searchable from the deck through themed effects, so recycling them with Jar of Avarice has a much greater chance of actually making a difference.

You'll have to play other traps With Jar in play you can reload your best targets, letting you play fewer Trap Holes overall. You can apply this logic elsewhere, using Jar to let you see more copies of searchable spells or traps without actually running more in your Main Deck.

Jar of Avarice is designed to help strategies achieve their goals, so it's somewhat limited by the deck it's played in. Your opponent won't care about its resolution most of the time—it doesn't affect them directly.
