The crew announced before we boarded that there wasn't enough overhead space for rolling bags and encouraged us to check them in. Upon boarding they announced that all overhead space in the back was full.
I sat in the back and noticed that the crew closed the overhead compartments even though they were mostly empty. Another passenger opened an empty one and the crew came over and closed it right away, though many people were still boarding. What's going on? Pros: "Overall very good. Because of this we were late for our flight which they would not let us get boarding passes for so they bumped us to a flight 2 hrs later. After getting through security we realized the original flight was delayed. We asked the airline if we could get back on that flight and we were rudely told no without a good reason.
So we sat for what ended up being and hour looking at the plane we "missed" before it took off. No using United again. The very nice gentleman who checked us in ended up only charging us for 2 of our 6 bags. We had 1 checked bag and 5 carry on 1 for each of us traveling.
So he charged for our 1 big checked bag and 1 carry on and then waived the fees for all our other carry on bags. This helped tremendously and was very much appreciated. Although, since we now know Frontier does charge for all bag types, we will probably avoid using them again. Very clean, new looking planes. Little leg room but ok for short flights!! Helpful, friendly flight attendents. No wifi onboard. But basic flight prices are good so will try them again!!

I always fly American and wanted to save a few dollars what a mistake! With American most the planes that I have flown in have free movie entertainment and everybody seat the seats are comfortable And recline. And the snacks are free along with the soda.

Glad I noticed it before the last flight to SLC left. Was suffering at the time with a bout of diverticulitis, the straight up and down, nonreclining seats were horrific for me.

The flight attendants were very stuck up and played on their tablets and phones for the duration of the flight, ate pizza, and looked to be drinking too. Not much customer help, but that's also because no complimentary items are given through frontier, no even a half cup of soda.
There are no bonus features on board like wi-fi or tv's on seat backs to order tv or movies. The price of flight was offset by the cost of bags and seat, so I ended up paying the same as I would have via United.

This is the first and last time flying with Frontier airlines. Pros: "Likely the most uncomfortable plane I've ever been on. Seats feature zero padding, the inability to recline, and a tray table the size of a DVD case. I'm 5' 9" pounds, young and very healthy. It notified me it would be extra when I booked online but didn't specify how much. What a surprise. I spent more on the fees for the bag than I spent on the bag itself and most of the contents for that matter. My flight was cancelled due to the weather. The woman at check-in was very, very good as far as being able to handle a lot of cranky passengers. She kept a positive attitude and was able to book me on a flight 2 days later.
Kudos to her. This lay over was expensive two nights in a motel plus food. You didn't even offer me a drink of water while I stood in long lines getting to the check-in counter and then waiting to make arrangement at a motel. I know the weather is out of your control, but couldn't you at least try to make your patrons comfortable after they have been on the road in sub-zero weather, in the snow trying to make their flight???

She was amazing and wonderful as there were no extra charges. She also helped me with handicapped transport around the airport. The man who got me from the counter to the gate stopped at a restaurant so I could grab some food as I didn't have any time to eat during the day.
However all 3 flights were pushed back with the last over 2 hours late. I didn't get home until well after 2 am.

When I ask the agent why it was the recommended during purchase, she said I should have read the full terms and conditions during checkout.
To me, this was a true scam. She told me that I could appeal the conditions of the travel insurance, but I would have to present a death certificate of the friend's baby that had just passed - the reason the baby shower was cancelled, and the reason this trip was cancelled. It was appalling. I tried calling Frontier directly, but their reservation desk was closed due to their system being down. I ended up not able to cancel the flight or even speak w a Frontier rep before my flight departed.
In all, I was given 6 different numbers or lines to call to sort through this situation. All I did was waste hours of my time. This was a terrible situation where I feel like I was the victim of a scam. Cons: "I felt duped. I chose Frontier because of the competitive rate for the flight fee.
I understand charging for upgraded options of more expensive drinks and larger snack items and additional baggage, but whatever happened to including the basic courtesies in the cost of the flight!?
Again, I felt duped! I will not be choosing Frontier again in the future unless these things change. And, oh my gosh, sitting within 3 rows of the lavatory was extremely uncomfortable to the nose the entire flight!
